Each year, Art-Linx conducts four nationawide surveys among art festival artists.
The surveys are designed to take the pulse of artists on topics that range from demographics and psychographics, to artists' goals and their appraisal of the industry. The results are often suprizing and far reaching in their implications for both artists and festivals. Often, they have proven predictive of trends in everything from application strength to general sales of art at festivals and artist travel patterns and show preferences.
SInce beginning the surveys seven years ago, we have reported back to the artist and festival community with both statistical results and interpretation of what artists say. We will offer survey results in the Art Festival Newsletter available to both artists and festivals free of charge.
